This election proved that our community is fed up with business-as-usual politics and politicians who represent big corporations, instead of people and local communities. Now that I’ve been elected I want to work with you to build a new type of politics in Griffith.
Of course, I can’t change everything overnight, but I am committed to representing what the people of Griffith believe in.
The first step is to get your input via my community survey and these town-hall meetings. There are over 170,000 people in the electorate of Griffith, and I’d love the input of as many of you as possible.
So please join us for this town hall meeting to hear about my federal and local priorities, and have your say on the issues you think your Federal MP should be focusing on.
This is your opportunity to share your thoughts about:
- Overdevelopment and lack of public infrastructure
- Protecting and expanding Davies Park
- Flood resilience and recovery
- Tackling the housing affordability crisis
- Addressing climate change
Or anything else you’d like to raise.
You’ll also have a chance to give your feedback on crucial questions like how should the Greens use balance of power in the senate? How should my office use its limited time and resources? And what tactics should I use to win outcomes for the community?
This venue is wheelchair accessible. We'll provide tea, coffee and snacks as well as some activities for kids at the back of the room. If you have any other accessibility requirements or questions please get in touch with my office via email: [email protected]
NOTE: This town-hall meeting will have an AUSLAN interpreter
I hope to see you there.
