Everyone! I’m hosting street chats this week residents to talk about:
-
The proposed Riverside Drive Dog Park
-
Input for the Gabba Wards the Visy site Survey
- Share updates on project neighbours might have questions about
-
Opportunity for neighbourhood to raise other issues
These conversations are really important because:
-
Residents’ voices matter – gives us an opportunity to hear directly from locals about what they want and need outside of campaign cycles.
-
Clear up misinformation – there’s been some incorrect information circulating about the dog park (e.g., claims about tree removal), and volunteers can help ensure people get the facts.
-
Community-driven decisions – input from these chats will directly inform my work in the Gabba Ward and in Brisbane City Council.
-
Stronger neighbourhood connections – these chats are also an opportunity to meet neighbours and build a sense of local community.
RSVP to join me!
