Have you heard about the Kurilpa Triangle Service - Route 86?
The BCC has launched a new free bus loop for the Kurilpa Peninsula, running counter-clockwise along a triangular route! The 86 starts its loop from Stanley Street, then moves into Montague Road, around to Vulture Street between South Brisbane and West End and then via Grey Street back to Stanley Street. The service will run every 10 - 15 mins from 7am - 9pm on weekdays, and from 8am - 9pm on weekends and public holidays.
The 86 has been introduced on a trial basis, partially to compensate for connectivity impacts from the Brisbane Metro construction project. Its longevity, frequency and operating hours will depend on its popularity. The more use, the easier it is to advocate for its continuation beyond the Metro construction period.
