This election proved that our community is fed up with business-as-usual politics and politicians who represent big corporations, instead of people and local communities. Now that I’ve been elected I want to work with you to build a new type of politics in Griffith.
Of course, I can’t change everything overnight, but I am committed to representing what the people of Griffith believe in.
The first step is to get your input via my community survey and these town-hall meetings. There are over 170,000 people in the electorate of Griffith, and I’d love the input of as many of you as possible.
So please join us for this town hall meeting to hear about my federal and local priorities, and have your say on the issues you think your Federal MP should be focusing on.
This is your opportunity to share your thoughts about:
- Local community issues and campaign opportunities
- Tackling the housing affordability crisis
- Addressing climate change
Or anything else you’d like to raise.
You’ll also have a chance to give your feedback on crucial questions like how should the Greens use balance of power in the senate? How should my office use its limited time and resources? And what tactics should I use to win outcomes for the community?
This event will be our final in a series of 8 town hall meetings, and is being held online only to ensure anyone who isn't able to access a meeting in person still has their opportunity to chat with me and have their say. We also know an online event may be more accessible for parents of young kids, people with limited mobility or transport access, and for anyone who couldn't make it along to their local event.
All welcome, but please RSVP here so we can send you the Zoom link! Look out for that in your emails in the week prior to the event.
