Take Action At City Hall on Tuesday 13th June!

Thank-you for taking action with us to defend public spaces from Olympics maldevelopment.

Brisbane City Council must side with residents and resist anti-democratic, non-consultative decisions from the Queensland Government putting invaluable public assets - like Raymond Park and East Brisbane State School - in the firing line, all for a two-week event.

But we know it will take more than emails and petitions to get Council to listen to our voices. We need to show them that we will fight to defend our neighbourhoods.

That's why we need you to join us, on Tuesday 13th of June, to make ourselves heard at Council Chambers.

  • Supporters will be meeting outside City Hall in King George Square at 12.45pm for a public demonstration
  • Council chambers will be open to the public from 1.00pm, and we want to make sure our community has a strong presence encouraging them to stand with residents, before Council breaks until August.
  • Councillor Trina Massey will be raising questions of Council about Olympics maldevelopment, and having a strong community presence in the gallery will add significant weight to the issue!

Will you be there? RSVP so we can let you know more details about the demonstration.
