Flash Flooding in the small streets of West End

We've had a lot of storm events this summer with many low lying streets in West End experiencing flash flooding - either for the first time or worse than ever before.

Many residents have had the lower levels of their homes inundated with water, causing damage to both their property and their home. Council's response has been either too slow or non-existent.

This community meeting will be an opportunity for residents to share their experiences to help me understand the full extent of the issue.

We will also discuss possible solutions and how best we can agitate for action with a Council that is effectively broke.

All residents of low-lying streets in West End/Highgate Hill are invited - particularly around Granville, Princhester, Exeter, and Thomas Streets and surrounds.
