Council has released the preliminary design for the Shafston Avenue Bikeway, a 1.2 km separated cycling and walking path connecting Deakin Street to Mowbray Park.

This project represents a significant step forward for walking and cycling safety and connectivity, there are still outstanding questions from residents, and no formal feedback process currently in place.

To ensure the community has a direct opportunity to learn about the project, ask questions and raise concerns, I will be hosting a community meeting on the project.
