Community Meeting: Proposed Pedestrian Safety Upgrades for Dornoch Terrace

When I talk to residents across our ward, pedestrian safety consistently comes up as a top priority. You’ve told me you want safer crossings around schools, better access to local shops, and streets that are safer for everyone who walks, wheels, or cycles. I hear you, and I’m working hard to make it happen.

In 2024, I worked with Council to secure approval and used the Gabba Ward Suburban Enhancement Fund to kickstart investigations and designs for pedestrian improvements at key locations across the ward.

I’m pleased to share that two sites now have final concept designs ready, and I want you to be part of the conversation about what comes next.

I’m inviting you to join me at community information sessions where you can:

  • Learn more about the proposed upgrades
  • Ask questions about the design process
  • Hear about next steps for each project

These sessions are a great opportunity to stay updated on pedestrian safety projects across our ward. I look forward to seeing you there!
